1897 (Dec 29) Small envelope endorsed “cards only” from Chinkiang to Oldenburg (Ruhstrat correspondence), franked internally with China 1897 2c (few short perforations at lower right), tied by Large Dollar “CHINKIANG” cds, showing a similar chop type from Shanghai on reverse, franked externally with overprinted Sage 5c type II, tied by “SHANG HAÏ/CHINE” cds, a rare printed-matter rate usage.
