1856 (Aug 29) Entire letter carried privately via Liverpool to Sweden, with ms forwarding agent notation on back for onward transmission on Oct 11 on back, together with GB-Sweden route via Hamburg with K.S.P.A. and elusive K.D.O.P.A. (Danish postal agency) cds’s, on front charged “7” on arrival and in transit with “3 1/2” retained at Hamburg, a rare destination.
