1855-63 1s Deep Dark Green, 1d brick-red and 1d rose-red, on 1860 (Oct 22) wrapper from Cape Town to Stettin, Prussia, slightly overlapping each other and tied by smudgy triangular cancels, endorsed “p RMS Dane”, reverse with despatch and German transit, a very attractive franking especially with such a nicely margined 1s and two shades of 1d, and to a rare destination, cert. RPS (1979).
