1897 Diamond Jubilee 2 1/2d “double” die proof on thin glazed card, 64x158mm, folded between with the two impressions arranged tête-bêche widely spaced and in different shades, bright violet with pencil endorsements “violet blue shade” and “This colour appd. 2.6.97” and bright reddish violet, a most interesting proof.
