Trebizond. 1867 (Sept. 5) Registered cover to Venice, bearing an exceptional 76 soldi rate made up of 1863 2s yellow, in combination with 1864 3s green single and pair, five examples of 10s blue and 15s brown, tied by “TREBISONDA/5-9” cds’s in blue (Tchilinghirian 981), alongside showing arrival and transit ds incl. Constantinople, Trieste, Verona, an extraordinary four-colour franking featuring two issues; cert. Enzo Diena (1996).
