Description
1851, Waadt 5, farbfrisch, allseits breitrandig geschnitten, auf Ortsbrief von Genf, sauber und übergehend entwertet mit schwarzer eidgenössischer Raute und nebengesetzten « GENEVE 28 DECE 51 2 1/2 S ». Eine sehr seltene Verwendung der Waadt 5 während der markenlosen Zeit, wovon nur 3 Briefe registriert sind. Atteste Moser 1974, Marchand 2023.
Ein ähnlicher Brief ist in Schäfer “Bundesmarken Frankaturen – Seltenheiten” auf Seite 209 abgebildet.
