Description
1927 (Jun 14) First non-stop Transatlantic flight with a passenger (just two weeks after Lindbergh) cover, flown by Clarence Chamberlin who crossed the Atlantic carrying 250 covers in only 43 hours all the way to Germany, an even more impressive feat than Lindbergh! A scarce cover franked in the USA and Germany on arrival with autograph of Chamberlain; cert. Bolaffi (2001).
