Lot 95231 – 1874 Port Paye red handstamp entire

1874 (6 October) pre paid entire from Jacmel to Port au Prince bearing good strike in red of framed Poste/Payé without any further postal markings, the sender includes a note in his letter that he paid the postman direct, some slight creasing. Also with a 2c Liberty Head with an example of the handstamp in black. Plus 1866 entire without any form of cancellation from Port au Prince to Jacmel endorsed “p poste”.
