Description

1879 Anglo Afghan War mail to England via Brindisi, 1 1/2a postal stationery card uprated with 1/2a sent from a soldier on sick leave in Jellalabad, with message on reverse about him having left Kabul and soon to be returning to Peshawar, scarce. Ex Soli Contractor.
