1846 (Jan 29) envelope addressed to Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland, endorsed “per Overland Mail/ via Calcutta” at top and “via Marseille” at base, reverse with framed three-line despatch date stamp of Landour (unrecorded by Giles), front with red oval INDIA handstamp and framed arrival cancel (Mr 28), reverse with red London transit and blue unframed Berwick
