Description
1904-48 collection well written up on pages and described starting from pre-stamp era seals and its usage on local covers identified with details, even includes pre-stamp combination handstamps with local seals and imperial office seals for delivery. A detailed study of first lithographic prints of the sun god with plating study and descriptions. Complete sheets of first issues can be seen along with sheet numbers in manuscript. Native covers with lithographic first issues canceled with pre stamp native seals including a cover with three different first issue franking. Later chariot issues and jail press issues as sheets are also seen on pages and covers with multiple frankings. The investiture complete unused set as well as usage on covers with mixed frankings and later portrait issues and overprints are present showcasing larger part sheets with overprint varieties all explained.
