1840 1d black pl.2 HA-HH horizontal strip of eight, close to enormous margins, neatly cancelled by good strikes of the red Maltese Cross, crease between HD-HE not detracting from the very fresh and fine appearance of this very rare multiple. Provenance: Burrus (1959); Fraser 2001.
