1855, 1/3 Gr. Black on green, very nice fresh colour and full to wide margins on all sides, with neatly placed blue single line “WADDENS” on complete printed matter (representative advice dated Harburg / Kingdom of Hannover oct.31.1855) without address wrapper. Extremely fine and attractive. An extraordinarily rare use of a number 1 in this tiny place. Signed Alberto Diena with certificate (1965), certificate Stegmüller BPP (2025): ”bisher ist mir kein weiteres Ganzstück der 1/3 Sgr mit diesem Stempel bekannt”.
