Lot 20279 – Baden Switzerland 1861 combination cover

1861 (12 Nov) incoming small envelope from Fribourg, Switzerland, franked with two Streubel 15rp tied two cds, to Bellingen where re-directed to Freiburg i. Breisgau and additionally franked with 1860-62 3Kr tied by large numeral ‘164’ railway handstamp and at bottom left framed E.B. 14 Nov./ Curs V.III date stamp applied, repeated three times on reverse. A very fine and attractive redirected mixed franking, believed unique in this combination; cert. J-C Marchand (2025).
