1863 (21.4) Folded cover by French steamer from Alexandria to Livorno via Messina (addressee enhanced with gold dust) bearing two examples of the Sardinia 80c bright orange stamps tied by a superb blue “PIROSCAFI POSTALI FRANCESI” handstamp (French steamship – line cancel, Smith type FS-2fr, with another example alongside) with a superb blue “ALESSANDRIA D’EGITTO POSTE ITALIANE/21.
