1898 (Dec 25, Christmas) envelope endorsed “on Special Service, no stamps procurable” from F. H. Howe of the 1st WAAF to England, with very Burutu type 6 serif boxed ds in violet, charged “2 1/2d”, reverse with Liverpool transit and London arrival, fine.
