Brass: 1895-96, pair of size G registered envelopes (Gledhill types NR6 and NR9), with 1895 (Dec 3) envelope to England with 1892-94 1/2d, 1894 (Jan 2d) and 1894 (May) 1d tied by Brass squared circle ds, endorsed “Per Axim”, Manchester arrival bs; and 1895 (Sep 9) envelope to the same address with 1892-94 1/2d Jubilee pair, 1894 (Jan) 1d (2) and 1894 (May) 2d tied by blue-black Brass River cds, also per Axim, a very fine pair that would make an attractive display page.
