Mahe de la Bourdonnais Bicentenary essays, 18c. composite stamp-size essay with head and frame printed in blue in a design later modified for the final issue, affixed to card (90x115mm.) lettered “BB”, dated “March 28th 99” and endorsed “Dupl.”(icate) at foot, a superb essay; ex De La Rue archives, Robert Marion and “Port Louis”.
