1895 Arms hand painted essay of the low value format in blue showing “3 cents” value crossed through in red, on thin card (90x92mm) and endorsed “”Key” die for various duties” and “Appd, EEB, 23.3.95”; the card a trifle spoiled away from the design, delightful; ex De La Rue Archives (p.1898 in the De La Rue collection by Frank Walton et al) and “Port Louis”.
