10s dull grey-blue, single showing “R” over “Se” variety, tied MERRION ROW DUBLIN/29.NO.23 cds, on registered cover to Mr. J.F.Burke, Harrington Street, Dublin, endorsed “Late 29.11.23” indicating acceptance after that day’s registered mail had departed, and subsequently held to the 30th, a wonderful example of this rarity on cover, exhibition showpiece, cert.
