Dublin – Portobello: 1822 (3.5) Folded letter sheet sent within Dublin, showing clear almost completely readable 2-line P. BELLO HOTEL/PENNY POST hs in black, applied at Portobello Harbour where barges on the Grand Canal discharged outside Dublin, with handstruck “2” of the Penny Post, with Portobello being at that time outside the 1d area, cvr faults, a rare usage.
