1767-1878 Attractive collection of Franco-Hibernian Postal History: A wonderful assembly of 34 covers neatly mounted and written up in German on 18 album pages, these early letters are addressed to following Colonel Count Walsh de Serrant, the Hennessay Connolly family of Cognac, Le Comte de Serrant dans son Chateau a Serrant proche de St.George, Mr.Saule also of Cognac etc, some showing town straight line hs of CLONMELL, DUNDALK, NAAS, MILLTOWN, TRALEE, CORK, WATERFORD, plus a few with the small and large IRELAND in red, also array of circular POST PAID and large bishop mkgs, plus two Royal decrees by Louis XV reforming Irish Regiments of Infantry and Cavalry in the French Army, a interesting lot for the student (34)
