1878 (Jan 25) Incoming envelope to the Falkland Islands from London, sent to the United States Consul in Port Stanley with 1873-80 1s green pl.13 left wing marginal tied by “97” duplex and by the Falkland Islands arrival, ms “2” accountancy marking for the Colony, shipped by RMSP “Elbe” to Montevideo, then by “FIC” schooner “Sparrow Hawk” arriving 30 March, fine and very rare destination; ex Mike Roberts FRPSL.
