1840 (May 7) large part entire used in London, bearing 1840 1d black pl.1a FB, with large margins all round, neatly tied by a good strike and a second superb upright strike of the red Maltese cross, the reverse flap with good strikes of the datestamps opening well for display, an attractive second day “May Date” usage.
