1901 2/6d. die proof in black on glazed card (62 x 92mm.), dated 15 NOV 01 in blue and marked “AFTER STRIKING”, additionally initialled and dated; very rare. Cat £4000. Ex “Maximus” (S.G. Auctions 1970) and Harold Fisher (Phillips 1985).
