1901 (April – May) 1d. stamp size approved essay with photographic Fuchs head and bromide frames mounted on thick card (78 x 100mm.) initialled by Ernest Cleave (controller of Stamps) and Emil Fuchs, Note the wider space around the head, retouched by hand; very rare.
