Description
”BUKA 11.9.14” superb strike of this iconic cds which represents the rarest postmark of German New Guinea, the cancellation was applied on a very fine Deutsch-Neuguinea 1900, 30 Pfg Hohenzollern on piece. The post office of Buka was only opened from 1913 to 1915 and very few strikes of its cds are known. Arge Handbook = LP, signed Willman and detailled certificate Eichele (2011).
