1924 (Jan 27) Organising Committee illustrated envelope showing Mont Blanc, sent on the third day of the Games with 25 Semeuse tied by the “SPORTS d’HIVER / CHAMONIX – MONT BLANC / JANVIER 1924” Olympic roller cancel, reverse with French arrival, some insignificant tears at top, very rare usage of this envelope with the Olympic cancel during the Games, light overall toning, a stunning Olympic showpiece, ex “Zappeion” (DF Nov 1999)
