1852-57, 10d blue on thick wove paper, with close to large margins, deep rich colour and detailed impression, tied by square grid on small cover to Scotland with red “Legislative Assembly February 14, 1859, Canada” ornamental datestamp in red adjacent, Liverpool transit and endorsed “O. Mowatt, MPP” below, Lanark arrival bs, very fine and rare cover from the “Mrs Strange” correspondence, ex Seybold (with his handstamp on reverse), Dale-Lichtenstein, Nickle, Guildford and Gross (Scott 7a).
