1842 (Dec 15) Wrapper from Hamilton to Scotland, with with crisp strike of the “HAMILTON / BERMUDA” despatch cds in black (type PM4, and used as the illustration in Robson Lowe’s Encyclopaedia vol.5 p.600) on reverse along with Glasgow arrival cds, rated “1/-“, fine and scarce with only 57 in black recorded in the Bermuda Specialized Catalogue (2012), ex Dickgiesser and Ulrich.
