Description
1907-12 Trio of items with overprinting freaks, incl. Harrison 25c on 2 1/2d bright blue duo showing a printer’s misprint of the overprint due to small pieces of tissue paper adhering to the stamp before overprinting; one in block of four with second “O” and “N” mostly omitted incl. small piece of tissue paper with the ovpt separate, and single with tissue paper still attached to stamp affecting the first “O” and “GE”, block with tone spot, very fine and most unusual, the only two such items recorded by the vendor, incl. small cut-out from a philatelic magazine for discovery of this single stamp (reported in Ewans Weekly Stamp News Oct 1913 and March 1914, and Sampson’s “Morocco Agencies” in 1959; and mint 10c on 1d with dry print at left leaving “1” of “1” partially omitted, crease at foot.
