1880-88, group of four covers with GB used abroad frankings, incl. 1885 envelope sent registered to London with 1883-84 2d and 2 1/2d tied by barred “C” ovals, being a very rare usage of the 2d lilac with only one other known by us (S.G. £80 as a loose single), 1884 mourning env. with 2 1/2d blue pl.22 and two 1d lilacs tied by barred “C”, 1880 env. to USA with 2 1/2d pl.19 tied by barred “C” and 1884 env. to England from Smyrna tied by “F87”, a fine and attractive group.
