1858-76, group of 12 covers and 3 fronts with GB used abroad frankings, with two fronts being registered to England and one front being second last day of the 1872 6d rate to England, with 10 covers from Constantinople to England incl. early 1858 (Feb 10) cover with 6d (central tape stain), two 1867/68 covers sent via the secondary route to Marseilles incl. 1867-73 1s green pl.4 single franking, 1869 cover via the Varna “quick route” at 8d rate (4d vermilion pl.11 pair), and two from Smyrna paying 8d French packet rate with 1875 env. with 4d vermilion pl.14 pair and 1874 cover with 6d grey pl.12 and 2d blue pl.14, mixed condition as often the case, a useful foundation to a postal history collection, all ex Richard Malim.
