1872 Hidalgo issue extensive collection in Yvert album starting with watermarked paper sample with a Quast cert. (1972), imperf examples without district name or numbers including two error of colour 50c blue plus five perforated examples, other values in multiples unused on moiré paper, used examples on this paper imperf or pin perf, stamps then organised into District names A to Z with over 140 covers included with 1873 and 1874 entires franked single 25c and three 12c respectively from Colima, 1873 outer letter sheet with 50c from Leon, 1874 25c cover small Huajuapam, other covers with fine cancels of Orizava (4, one showing error of number ’29’ for ’31’, 1872 S.Luis Potosi cover with block of four 6c, framed FRANCO/ S.J.B. Tabasco including cover with four 6c. A very fine lot, offered intact.
