1874 & 1896, two covers with one 1874 sent by Queen Victoria’s secretary Henry Ponsonby from Windsor to the Privy Council office in Whitehall with 1d red. pl107 tied by “890” duplex, complete black wax seal on reverse, and attractive hand illustrated envelope with two 1887 2 1/2d from Shortlands to Switzerland with reverse showing Swiss village scene with a steam train.
