1881 1d (die II, 16 dots) colour trial in yellow on buff, unwatermarked paper, maybe a plate proof right marginal example, very rare and seemingly unrecorded by SG or Galland, Louis & Young in “Penny Lilac”, cert. Wenvoe (2024); plus a lower marginal plate proof on buff paper (small nick at left) and upper marginal plate proof on green paper (thin).
