Description
1843 (6 January) entire written from Cap Haitien to Greenock, Scotland, endorsed via Steamer and rated 1/5, this being the rate for unpaid letters from the West Indies, struck on arrival in Falmouth with an extremely fine framed St DOMINGO green handstamp, red framed arrival backstamp. An extremely fine example from the A.R. Murray correspondence to his parents; ex Glassco.
