Description
1934 (Nov 13) Airmail cover from Mogadiscio to Rome struck with red airmail cachet, bearing 1934 Posta Aerea 25c indigo & brown overprinted “SERVIZIO AEREO SPECIALE” in combination with 1932 definitives 25c green, 30c brown, 75c carmine, and 1.25l blue, all tied by “MOGADISCIO POSTA AEREO SPECIALE 13.11.34.XIII” postmark with crown on top. Reverse with additional strike of the Mogadiscio air mail crowned postmark and Roma arrival 1.12. A fresh, attractive, and scarce cover.
