Lot 30721 – Romagna 1859 unique bisect cover

1859 (14 Oct) small outer letter sheet sent from Bologna to Ferrara, charged at “2” and to make this charge a 1/2baj and a diagonally bisected 3baj (ie 1 1/2baj), each with good to large margins was applied and tied by single grid handstamp, arrival backstamp of same date. A unique and currently unrecorded bisect, truly a remarkable opportunity to acquire such a rarity, not yet listed in Sassone; cert. Sorani (1992).
