Collection in five volumes housed in carton from 1926 First Flights incoming from Brindisi, 1926 issue covers, one with full set and other values used on a range of flights, 1929 Imperial Airways first flights, early 1930s Imperial routes from including Bechuanaland and to Africa plus some transiting mail, 1931 Catapult mail from USA SS Bremen, 1930s Indian airmails incoming and outgoing including 1933 Kuwait to Athens, to and from S.E. Asia and Australia, some other unusual destinations such as British Somaliland, Shanghai with handstamp ‘Airplane Not Arrived/ Received By “Steamer”‘1940s censored and two O.A.T. covers, also with some vignettes and postcards. A probably unique opportunity to acquire such an extensive collection in fine condition with so many scarcer items, about 700.
