Description
Tenth Day Of The Games: 1906 (Apr 18) Ziehrer embossed ‘stamp’ postcard with central image of Olympic stadium used to Hungary with 2l, 3l and 5l tied Athens cds. It had been agreed with the UPU that these ‘stamp’ cards would not be used or valid from the home country, so used here against regulations but not stopped. This card is signed in bottom right by Murzsa Gyula, the leader of the Hungarian Olympic team.
