Rated 2s. for the French border but subsequently deleted. Struck with red double-circle ETATS-UNIS.PAQ.BR.FT. 1 NOV 53 PARIS on the front and taxed 26 Decimes in error for a double letter sent via the USA and England under the British ship tariff of 1 Dec 1851 to Cognac, France.
