1852–57 Three-Denomination Mixed Franking – Port Rowan to Manchester via Cunard “Canada”Two 1/2d deep rose on horizontally ribbed paper (one with small tears), with 3d red (showing imprint at bottom) on medium wove paper, and 6d brownish grey also on medium wove, mostly clear margins and tied by blue concentric circles on envelope with PORT ROWAN U.C AP 14 1859 blue circular datestamp. Sent via Hamilton, carried by Cunard “Canada” via New York and Liverpool (2/5) to Sale, Manchester, England. Some minor cover imperfections.Rarity: The only recorded cover bearing three different Pence denominations.
