1858 Stampless Registered Cover – SP 16 “FREE” and Oblique “REGISTERED”
Envelope addressed to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, bearing manuscript “3” crossed by “FREE” and an oblique “REGISTERED” handstamp. Dated with circular SP 16 1858 postmark, sent via Aylmer with transit backstamp and arrival cds, wax seal and portion of sideflap removed, otherwise fine.
