TORONTO GRID: 1851 3d Red on Ribbed Paper Cover
3d red on thin soft horizontally ribbed paper, good to large margins, tied by Toronto grid on cover dated 24 March 1858, addressed to Chatham with arrival backstamp.
A fine domestic usage of the early 3d Beaver issue with clear grid cancellation.
