½d deep rose, showing major re-entry from Position 50 (in the reduced sheet of 100, originally Position 60 in the sheet of 120), tied by TORONTO, MY 16 split ring on 1859 drop letter (circular), addressed locally to Albert Street.
Pays the ½d domestic circular or drop letter rate, a fine example of early Toronto local postal usage with a notable plating variety.
