½d deep rose, close to good margins, tied by HAMILTON, JU 4 1858, C.W. circular datestamp on a Canada Life Assurance Company printed entire with printed date 18 May 1858, mailed via London to Goderich.
Pays the ½d domestic printed matter rate, as listed in the 1856 Canadian Almanac, a fine usage on company correspondence.
