1860-63 4d. rose on 1860 (Apr 7) outer wrapper to Nantes, France, endorsed “Suez et Marseilles”, tied by dumb oval of bars used on the first day of issue, the front showing “Pays etr. Y.Suez/AMB.D” French entry cds alongside MS”16″ (decimes), the reverse showing superb “GPO/Mauritius” despatch cds, light soiling and filing folds but a remarkable first day usage, which opens well for display, one of only two know first day usages from the De La Rue period; ex “Port Louis”.
