1942 (Oct) £1 purple and black on deep carmine-red paper, plate block of four from the lower right of the sheet, (HPFs 59ii) repair to top right scroll and the major (#60) broken lower right scroll. Lightly hinged on the top pair with the lower pair with the varieties are mint NH. KGVI Expertising Certificate (2002).
