Description
1940 (2 Sept) provincial red band envelope from Xining to Shunhua franked 5c S.Y.S. with contents with letter from a Muslim merchant. The Tibetan Government has always considered Amdo as part of Tibet as the population was Tibetan and owed allegiance to the Dalai Lama. A hard to find item.
